$200M Bugatti Art-Car Set To Smash Mercedes $142M World Record

Artist Jack Armstrong will unveil the World’s Most Expensive Car in Saudi Arabia – his $200 Million Bugatti ‘X’ hypercar.

It will celebrate Armstrong’s 50th Anniversary as an artist. As the founder of Cosmic ‘X’ Art, he worked with both Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol at the start of his iconic career.

The current world record, a 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe was one of only two ever made.  It was sold from the Mercedes-Benz corporate museum in Stuttgart, Germany in May 2022 to a private collector for 141 million EUR (138 million GBP or 142 million USD).

Armstrong’s Bugatti will be a “one-off” masterpiece that will crown his career records as a unique and internationally celebrated artist with the most expensive Bicycle, Motorcycle and Supercar in the world.
